Privacy Policy

What we collect
You can browse and watch everything on DeenSubs without an account. If you choose to sign in (with Google or Apple), we store your name, email address, and profile picture so you can comment on lectures. Comments you post are stored with your account. A session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
What stays on your device
Saved videos, watch history, playback positions, and appearance preferences are stored only on your device (or in your browser). They are never uploaded to our servers and are removed when you delete the app or clear your browser data.
Usage analytics
We collect basic usage data — which lectures are viewed, search queries, approximate location (country/city), and device type — to understand what content benefits people, improve search, and protect the service from abuse. This runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure. We do not use advertising networks, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell data.
Third-party services
DeenSubs runs on Cloudflare (hosting, storage, analytics). Sign-in is handled by Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple; we receive only your basic profile (name, email, picture) and never see your password.
Deleting your account
In the iOS app, go to About → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, your comments, and your sessions from our servers. You can also reach us through the channels below to request deletion.
Children
DeenSubs is educational content suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; accounts simply enable commenting and are not required for anything else.
