The rule is: if adhan is called in the mosque

0:13

he should not leave it except for a higher benefit.

0:19

Otherwise, he has disobeyed Abu al-Qasim ﷺ when adhan is called.

0:24

As for a person in the mosque, the rule is: he does not leave it.

0:28

except for a greater benefit, a greater benefit, for example.

0:31

Say we were in Madinah.

0:33

And we were at a lesson in a mosque.

0:35

And the adhan was called, and I wanted

0:37

that I myself go to the Prophet's Mosque ﷺ.

0:42

The stronger view is that this is permissible.

0:45

Or, for example, say a person's father.

0:48

Waiting at home for him to take him to the mosque.

0:53

So he goes out so his father can take him; this is a greater good, so he didn't.

0:57

Leave the mosque, turning away from it, but rather for a higher interest.

1:02

Or if a person is the imam of a mosque and is sitting in the lesson.

1:06

And the adhan is called while he's in the lesson, so he

1:09

He needs to go lead his congregation.

1:12

There is no problem with that, none at all. The issue is this:

1:17

The muezzin calls the adhan, then a person leaves the mosque.

1:21

Not for any valid need at all; he simply leaves the mosque.

1:27

This is what was reported of him: that he disobeyed Abu al-Qasim ﷺ.

1:32

We'll answer

1:33

some questions.
