The questioner asks this: What is your advice?

0:03

For one tested with watching pornographic images and films?

0:11

O Allah, my Lord, Ever-Living. O Sustainer, Maker of heavens and earth.

0:14

O Allah, heal his heart, Lord of the worlds.

0:17

O Allah, keep him from this trial. Lord of the worlds.

0:20

My advice to myself and my brothers is that the eye is a blessing from Allah.

0:28

It is one of Allah's greatest blessings on us, renewed every second.

0:35

So we should use it in obedience to Allah.

0:39

And not use it in disobedience to Allah.

0:42

And we should know: whoever uses Allah's blessings to disobey Him.

0:47

Will soon lose it as a blessing, even if it remains.

0:53

The second matter is to remind ourselves.

0:58

That we will be questioned about this eye.

1:02

Before Allah ﷻ.

1:05

When you sit in your room, there is no one there.

1:09

No one is there. And you are looking.

1:12

Remember that you will stand before Allah.

1:14

And He will ask you about this eye and about what you saw.

1:19

"Each of you will be spoken to by his Lord, with no interpreter.

1:24

He'll look right. He'll see only what he sent ahead.

1:27

He'll look left. He'll see only what he sent ahead.

1:30

"And he will look before him and see only the Fire." Remember this.

1:38

And the third matter is to remember that Allah is with him.

1:45

Allah sees him and hears him. And knows him. Allah is with him.

1:51

With His hearing and His sight and His knowledge.

1:58

So when you are alone and looking at these films and obscenities.

2:04

Remember that Allah sees you now.

2:09

And Allah knows your condition so do not say, "I am alone."

2:15

Rather, remind yourself that Allah sees you.

2:18

It is mentioned that one of the Salaf favored one student over the rest.

2:25

So the students asked him and he wanted to show why he chose him.

2:31

Then he gave each one a bird and said, "Slaughter it where no one sees you."

2:39

The students went off and returned next day; all but him had killed theirs.

2:46

He said, "So-and-so, what did you do?" "I went here, and here, and here."

2:50

And you, so-and-so, why didn't you obey?

2:54

He said: Whenever I went somewhere I knew that Allah was watching me.

2:59

So I found no place where no one could see me.

3:03

So he said, "That is why I love him."

3:05

Before Allah, the noblest of you is the most pious.

3:10

So we should remember this: Allah ﷻ sees us.

3:16

Then, my brother, time moves on and passes, in obedience or sin.

3:22

By Allah, time has not stopped for one who obeys or who sins.

3:27

Remind yourself: if you endure these minutes, they'll pass sinless.

3:34

And if you commit this sin, it passes in sin, corrupting your heart.

3:41

It will constrict your life and cause you misery.

3:46

You may be denied blessings because of this.

3:51

So remind yourself of this, then remember.

3:56

The eye will testify against you.

4:01

The eye will testify against you for what it saw.

4:04

Before Allah ﷻ.

4:07

So fear Allah ﷻ and revere Allah's majesty.

4:13

If you do this, by Allah's power and strength, you'll defeat Iblis.

4:19

Also, supplicate often.

4:21

O brothers, anyone afflicted by a sin should come before Allah ﷻ late at night.

4:26

My Lord, have mercy on me. My Lord, You know my state best.

4:29

My Lord, I have been afflicted by this disease. O Allah, make me hate it.

4:35

O Allah, distance me from it as You distanced east from west.

4:39

Casting yourself down and sincerely turning to Allah best mends your state.

4:46

My brother, this question of yours is a sign of goodness.

4:51

and that you seek good and want to be free of it.

4:54

Pray at night; night's arrows don't miss. Fall before Allah ﷻ in prostration.

4:58

My Lord, my Lord, my Lord, save me from this affliction, my Lord.

5:03

Make me hate it, my Lord. Make me loathe it, my Lord.

5:06

Distance me from it, as You distanced east from west.

5:09

And Allah is All-Hearing, the One who answers.

5:12

Near to His servants, He does not turn away one who is sincere.

5:17

And He is shy to turn away His sincere servant's supplication.

5:23

So seek refuge, seek refuge in Allah ﷻ. And Allah ﷻ knows best.
