Security and Stability Are Among Greatest Blessings

Health in our bodies and stability in our homelands.

This is one of the greatest blessings for Muslims.

It must be appreciated not met with ingratitude.

When they failed to appreciate this blessing.

Allah ﷻ set forth the example of a town: the people of Makkah.

"It was secure and at ease."

"Its provision came to it in abundance from every place."

"But it denied Allah's favors."

"So Allah made it taste the garb of hunger and fear for what they did."

"And a Messenger came to them from among them, but they denied him."

The Messenger who came to them was Muhammad ﷺ.

They denied him and were ungrateful for this blessing.

So what befell them? Allah removed them.

And He opened Makkah for His Messenger ﷺ and the believers.

And Quraysh's power over this land came to an end.

Due to ingratitude for Allah's blessing on them.

And this is Allah's way with His creation.

So if we do not thank Allah for His blessings on us, as you see.

For Allah ﷻ is ever watchful.

What befell those before us.

When they were ungrateful for Allah's blessing, it may befall us.

"Did We not destroy the former peoples, then have the later follow them?"

"Thus do We deal with the criminals."

So we must fear Allah ﷻ.
